Avatar concerts firm Unit1 Studio raise $20m in global touring bid
The London-based, end-to-end firm is looking to create and deploy virtual performers in an effort to offer 'time travel tourism'

Avatar concert producer Unit1 Studio has announced a $20 million (€17.4m) investment, in its bid to make the medium commercially viable for global deployment and touring.
The funding comes as the company said it had successfully “relocated” its KT Tunstall avatar concert between two London venues, which it described as “overcoming a huge barrier to commercial adoption” of the technology.
